In the MCU we don’t say I love you we say, “We’re gonna be okay, Tony. You can rest now” and I think that’s bawling-your-eyes-out heartbreaking tbh.

Babe I am an Iron Man stan first, human second. I’ll always be here for Tony (&RDJ)!!

But killing him off Marvel killed off all my enthusiasm for their future projects because @ Marvel, I came for Tony Stark, stayed for Tony Stark and what’s the point caring about other stuff happening in this franchise anymore now that he’s gone

“In a movie filled with terrific performances, the standouts are Scarlett Johansson, whose Black Widow has changed in so many ways since we first met her; Chris Hemsworth, providing a surprising amount of comedic relief as a very different version of Thor, and most of all Robert Downey Jr., whose Tony Stark has always been the most fascinating, complex, multi-layered, charismatic “civilian” persona of any superhero universe I’ve ever visited.

The Motion Picture Academy never recognizes great acting if it comes attached to a costume or a cape. That doesn’t mean Downey isn’t deserving of an Oscar. It’s great acting in a great film.”

Avengers: Endgame review (Richard Roeper, CHICAGO SUN-TIMES).

That’s a very powerful endorsement indeed.

Hilda Spellman is the sweet aunt who takes you to movies and makes you cake on your birthday and reads to you at night.

Zelda Spellman, on the other hand, is the aunt who buys you designer bags and takes you out drinking on your 21st birthday and will quite literally kill anyone who threatens your happiness, and that’s the kind of woman I strive to be.
